They can die trying, but London will never cave in!

Are you alright mate? Asked Abisha Moyo as he leaned down to help his fellow passenger lying on floor of the tube, only to notice smoke fizzing out from under the man’s rucksack. The bomber, shaved, and perfumed for his lift off to heaven, realized he hadn’t made it to paradise yet, no black-eyed virgins dangling grapes; he jumped onto the tracks and disappeared.
This model of human depravity does not stand for the Islamic faith any more than the psychopath Timothy McVeigh represents the Christian faith. He is a living breathing perversion of Islam. It’s hard to imagine what a warped version of faith they’re practicing by the indiscriminate murder of children, mothers, Sufis, Buddhists, anti-war demonstrators, Shiites, Christians. What God do they believe is condoning and rewarding this crime against humanity? They call themselves martyrs! Where is the sacrifice in the murder of the innocent of any faith, or any race? No cause or grievance can ever justify it!
Many of us non-Muslims were angered on a daily basis during Bosnia, where Serbian forces marched into Srebrenica (the UN designated “Safe Area”), separated 7,000 Muslim young men and boys, and murdered them right under the noses of the international community. We watched in horror, the nightly news of the medieval shelling of Sarajevo, the victims of sniper alley, and the burned out ruins of obliterated Groznyy. We were outraged by the open ended carte blanche handed to Ariel Sharon, which his government abused by leveling Jenin, sending tanks into Bethlehem, and Apache helicopter gunships firing missiles into densely populated Palestinian towns for so called targeted killings.
Let the record show that Al Qaeda only twist these grievances to serve their global holy war and couldn’t care less about them as they’ve undoubtedly proven by murdering Muslims on every continent. For anyone paying attention, Al Qaeda has been clear - they wish to restore the Caliphate to reign over the Islamic Ummah (worldwide community) by over throwing Muslim countries with secular governments, they wish to expel US and allied forces from the Arabian Peninsula, and pray for the destruction of Israel and the West. They want us all to forget about the advancements that Islam had made in science, astronomy, mathematics, art, music and are literally dying to take us back to the stone throwing seventh century where one had better obey the letter (not the spirit) of the Quran, for any fool that dares to deviate or innovate on it, will (if lucky) receive a good beating, and if not, burn in the fires of hell. The Iraqi branch of Al Qaeda, Al Qaeda of Mesopotamia led by Abu Musab al-Zarqawi have butchered teachers, poll workers, constitution writers, policeman, anyone brave enough to defie them on creating democracy. Al Qaeda and all it’s franchise operations add up to an oppressive totalitarian theocracy, pious bullies, fascist gangsters, that have targeted Muslims, murdering Sufis at weddings, shooting moderate Sunnis and bombing Shiite mosques. The daily onslaught of organized mayhem and filmed beheadings are enough to the chill the blood. Not an overly tolerant bunch are they. Is there anyone that thinks the Jihadits would stop attacking us if if we pulled out of Iraq? Would they give up terror for an agreement between Israel and the Palestinians? Does anyone with the remotest touch of common sense believe we can appease them; talk them out of it over a nice cup of tea?
The group of homegrown and brainwashed Yorkshire-Jihadists that did July 7 were radicalized via extremist websites, by watching war movies and taking trips to the terrorist swamp of Pakistan. Nineteen year old Germain Lindsey just like the shoe bomber was a Jamaican convert to Islam. Germain was responsible for bombing at King Cross train station where 26 people lost their lives; the other three bombers were British citizens of Pakistani decent. Indeed, there’s been a lot of head in our hands discussion about what drives these second generation Brits to turn on their country of birth. Is it alienation from British culture, the high unemployment rate, racism, double standards of western foreign policy? I don’t know what goes through the mind of a mass murderer, but I’m pretty certain it takes a giant leap to get from being a young Muslim, angry about Iraq, to becoming a member of a death cult, who with precision, will strap explosives around his waist, pick a busy spot on the tube jammed with fellow citizens, and blow himself and everyone else to smithereens. This takes mind numbing hate indoctrination within a community that celebrates death and reveres them as martyrs.

It’s safe to say that London was just a bit too tolerant, bending over backwards to make sure that no one, not even the hate inciters got offended; while extremists ridiculed it as “Londonistan” and “Beirut on Thames”. Any Muslim visiting the Finsbury Park mosque in north London could immerse himself in anti-western diatribe out of the mouth of Sheikh Abu Hamza. This one armed, one eyed ogre used to vomit out his nasty little sermons on a weekly basis “Bin Laden is a good guy, everyone likes him in the Muslim world, there is nothing wrong with the man and his beliefs” he said. The discriminating Jihadist could stroll down the road to meet the “Tottenham Ayatollah” Omar Bakri Mohammed who proclaimed the 9/11 hijackers as the “magnificent nineteen”, and the 7/7 bombers as the “fantastic four”. These mad clerics have intimidated and marginalized the peaceful but shockingly silent majority of the Muslim world. It’s about time the Islamic modernists take on a meaningful jihad, a struggle for the heart of Islam, one that would pit them against the forces of extremism and rid their religion and community of this cult and the vipers that spread it. The Muslim community has to show these bombers up for what they are, demystify them, publicly shame them, and ostracize the extremists for distorting Islam. They simply cannot allow the terrorists to define the way the rest of the world see Islam.
Within hours of the bombings, and not far from where bloodied Londoners were choking on the fumes in the dark tunnels of the underground, George Galloway, a British member of parliament for Bethnal Green, stood up in the House of Commons declaring that Londoners “had paid with their lives because of Tony Blair’s policy in Iraq”.Galloway acting as an apologist for Al Qaeda in a moment of national grief was a disgraceful capitulation, and wont be easily forgotten either. Then came the sick gloating from Al Qaeda that we’ve all gotten used to, somewhere, caving it along the border of Afghanistan and Pakistan, Ayman al-Zawahri (Al Qaeda’s Joseph Goebbels in a black turban), was foretelling more destruction for London, blaming Tony Blair and moaning about the truce that they offered and we neglected to accept.
I must have been about twelve years old when my history teacher warned our class that the last time we signed a truce with a fascist, it wasn’t worth the paper it was written on, and after a good deal of trouble, London was left standing but some other cities in Europe were not as fortunate. You see, we have our beliefs of liberty, equality, humanism, and if they get our backs up, which they have, I think they’ll find us well up for it. Our enemies remind us that they love death more than we love life, well then, let’s accommodate the nihilists, carve out a little spot in Hyde Park and call it “Suicide Corner” the bombers can (without too much of a spectacle) blow themselves up!
Don’t make a mess of it…and do keep the noise down…we have our freedom to attend to!
