  • 7 – 8 bags of Tazo Zen Green Tea or Teavana Jade Citrus Mint Tea
  • 2 quarts of water
  • Simple syrup

  • 1 cup of sugar

Starbucks used to go for Tazo Zen Green Tea for iced green tea base ingredient, but now they’ve changed to Teavana Jade Citrus Mint Tea. If you cannot find these, you can use your favorite tea (or any green tea you can find actually). However, if you want to get the closest possible to the real thing, then you know what you have to do.

You can buy the Tazo ZenGreen Tea at Starbucks, grocery store, or on Amazon for less than $7 a box. For the Teavana Jade Citrus Mint Tea, you can also get it from Amazon for $12. It is really up to you if you like the new or the old version of Starbucks green tea.

Boil the Tazo Zen Green Tea or Teavana Jade Citrus Mint Tea

First, you need to boil 2 quarts of water until it simmers. Then, put the tea bags in the water. You can either use the Tazo Zen or the Teavana Mint Tea. Cover and leave it for 15 minutes.

Turn off Your Stove
